We just had to drop you a line to let you know that once again we enjoyed our "home away from home" stay with you at Avalon Apts. This visit was for our annual Fall trip to Rochester. We brought friends along this time.

I asked Georgia for the name of the owners so I could write to you about one experience at staying at your apartments at Avalon.

My husband & I were concerned about arriving at 9:00 on a Sunday night but Georgia said that was no problem – we could call her at home & she would run over and let us in. We’ve stayed at many places in our 33 years of marriage and no one – NO ONE has given us such great personal service.

We always travel with cleaning supplies because we have found that almost all places are "marginally" clean. Our apartment was immaculate. I asked Georgia for the gals name and she said Cindy cleaned it. Everything was beautiful – I tend to be picky and really notice things but Cindy had everything PERFECT in our apartment. Just wanted to let you know.

In Rochester, we and several million other people had a blackout. Homes and businesses everywhere had no electrical power. We are proud of how our crew at Avalon responded to this emergency. We provided candles and flashlights for all of our customers. Dale, our maintenance man, stayed in our parking lot until midnight, directing traffic in total darkness, while providing supplies, and helping late arrivals safely into their apartments.
We received compliments from all of our tenants that our response was above and beyond what they expected.

I just wanted to drop a line to let you know how pleased we are with Avalon Apartments. As you know, we have a number of students attending training classes in Rochester. We have chosen Avalon to be our housing vendor of choice.

The key to our decision is the relationship Avalon has created with us. Since we have been using Avalon our complaints regarding housing have virtually disappeared. Anytime we have had a concern from a student, the response from Avalon has been outstanding. We find the accommodations adequate to meet our needs and the housing cost to be an excellent value. The staff and user-friendliness of dealing with Avalon is superb.
